We took a little time this morning to help Tara and Kevin get their boxes to the shipping company. They are air freighting 12 boxes home for $5,000.00. They should arrive in Utah about 2 days after they do. If they sent them by boat it would take months and cost more them double that. Go figure.
We tried to finish up all the questions that we needed Tara to answer today. She will be gone by the time we get back. The timing is not good for us to leave right now but it is what it is. Hopefully her replacement can help us work through what is left. We know it is a lady about our age who knows the islands well and has lots of connections. That is if she is approved and then she accepts. It is an 18 month service mission call.
We did another Zone Conference today. That is our last one on the main island. We will start inspecting the housing when we get back from our trip. After the conference I went to have my first haircut in Tonga. There is a lady here, her name is Baby, who cuts all the senior sister missionary’s hair. I really liked her. She has been trained and she knows a lot about hair. She did a good job, not a bad haircut. I think I will be alright here. Whew! That was a worry for me.
